What an amazing March I had. The tour with Brooks Williams was somehow even better than expected! Thanks to everyone for coming out and making it a big success! Despite a broken foot, I managed to do the tour and then fly down to Nashville to record a little EP with Jesse Terry for our June JOYFUL NOISE TOUR. Working with Neilson Hubbard (engineer/producer/dog lover) was a joy. He really helped us keep it real.
On to APRIL... Lately every show I do is unique! This weekend I get to do a swing dance with my father, legendary jazz piano player Herb Gardner, otherwise known as Pops. Then later in the month I get to split a show with Roosevelt Dime (I happened to be married to the bass player, while Molly is married to the guitar player!). From there to an intimate railway museum in upstate NY, a writers-in-the-round show in RI with some dear old friends, and a really exciting theater show on Cape Cod! I’ll be closing out April with my first headlining solo spot at the Virginia Arts Festival!! WHOA!
Checkout the shows page for ticket links. I'd love to see your smiling faces at one of these shows!
